When we reached the venue, the birthday decorations were still going up. A shy little girl stood in the corner while her parents, grandparents and uncles and aunts buzzed around trying to get the venue ready before her friends arrived. Soon enough, her friends started pouring in and then began the fun ad frolic! The little kiddos got their faces painted and ran around each other while the adults chatted and caught up on things, old and new. The beautiful ‘Ariel-mermaid-underwater-themed’ cake created quite an uproar amongst the little ones–they couldn’t wait to sink their teeth into this one! Candles were blown out, the cake was cut and lots of good wishes and love was showered on the lady-of-the-day! After the kids ate the birthday goodies, it was time for a magic show! The magician had a lot of tricks under her hat (pun intended) and made the kids squeal with delight!
